As I’m now in full on demob mode, ready for my 2 week xmas/new year vacation to the UK, I’m practically thinking its the end of the year already. So, I think it’s ok to do my running review of 2013.
Training Miles According to my Daily Mile tracker 277 miles in 2013 YTD
which is pretty pathetic really, around 24 miles per month! (also its about half what I did in 2012, which was also not a huge total.
Note to Self, must do better next year
Races
January Green Corridor Run 10.9k trail 50.32 203rd
February OMB Challenge 15k +Stair Climb 86.24 57th
March 2XU Run 21.1k 1hr 49m 231st
April JP Morgan Corp Challenge 5.6k 25.28 333rd
December Commando Challenge 12k ++ 1hr 21m 175th
Which highlights the 8 month interlude when i went off the reservation!
Already signed up the first run of 2014, The Marina 10k in early Feb. So if I can keep the good work of the last two months going through end Dec-Jan, I’ll be in decent shape for that one.
Other useless data from the wonderful Daily Mile training records:
Fastest pace April 13th Track Session average pace 6.53 min/mile
Longest Run 2XU Run 13.1 miles
Should get another 15-20 miles in this year. One or two more runs in SG and then a few in the UK.
Will be very interesting to see if 15 months running in 90% humidity has any impact on performance in the UK winter!
